Kasa Blanca Speech Services was founded in 2023 by Andrea and Krystina with a mission:
Providing and promoting communication to community with diversity and inclusivity in mind.

The name Kasa Blanca for this speech clinic has special significance to the founders. Kasa Blanca is a name digs into the roots of where Andrea and Krystina come from and honors all the tough times and work it took to eventually start this business. The image of the Casablanca Lily is meant to represent growth, patience, and blooming.

The idea to start a private practice came from working with the neurodiverse community and learning there was a method to provide speech and language services based on trust and understanding. Our mission is to educate families and our community about the different avenues that communication can be effective.

About the Founders

Andrea is our child whisperer and expert at play-based therapy. She specializes in early intervention stages, advancing language based in echolalia, AAC, and is a strong advocate for all of her patients. Andrea brings out the best in children struggling to communicate and teaches parents how to continue communication at home. Krystina is our research enthusiast! She specializes in early intervention stages, feeding, AAC, fluency disorders, and advancing language based in echolalia. Krystina has a long history of working in hospital outpatient settings, private practice, and home health with patients 0-18 with an array of speech, language, and feeding disorders. 5 facts about Kasa Blanca Speech Services (KBSS)

1. Casa Blanca meaning “white house” is the name of the neighborhood Krystina was raised in. Being raised in Casa Blanca was not always seen with pride due to the fact that many lower-income families lived in that area. Krystina, however, still visits her family in Casa Blanca to this day. Casa Blanca represents resilience, love, and community to Krystina.

2. Blanca Jr. is actually Andrea’s nickname! So when Krystina pitched the name Kasa Blanca Speech Services, the team knew it was meant to be.

3. KBSS took in its very first client in November 2023.

4. The KBSS office was custom built to the owners’ needs.

5. KBSS has over 100 available toy/play options to help patients engage and learn during sessions.
